FCXI — Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your FCXI account and the data connected to it. FCXI is a platform that connects football players and clubs, published by FCXI, Tinnenpotstraat 28, 2320 Hoogstraten, Belgium — contact: info@fcxi.net.

1. Delete your account inside the app

The fastest way is in the app itself:

1. Open the FCXI app and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap the gear icon in the top right.
4. Choose Delete account and confirm.

The account is removed immediately. This cannot be undone.

2. Request deletion by e-mail

If you can no longer sign in, send a request from the e-mail address your account is registered with to info@fcxi.net, with the subject "Delete my FCXI account". We use the sending address to verify the request, and we complete it within 30 days.

3. What is deleted

When your account is deleted, the following is permanently removed:

• Your account and e-mail address
• Your profile: name, date of birth, region, height, preferred foot, playing positions, category, availability and biography
• For club accounts: club name, location, contact person, website and social media links
• All photos, highlight videos and posts you uploaded
• Your chat messages
• Your push-notification token and app settings

4. What is retained, and for how long

Nothing is retained for ongoing use of the service. Two limited exceptions:

• Encrypted backups may still contain your data for up to 30 days after deletion, after which they are overwritten.
• Abuse reports that you or another user submitted may be kept in anonymised form where we are required to, so that safety decisions remain auditable. These no longer identify you.

Op deze pagina lees je hoe je je FCXI-account en de bijbehorende gegevens verwijdert. FCXI is een platform dat voetballers en clubs met elkaar verbindt, uitgegeven door FCXI, Tinnenpotstraat 28, 2320 Hoogstraten, België — contact: info@fcxi.net.

1. Je account verwijderen in de app

1. Open de FCXI-app en log in.
2. Ga naar het tabblad Profiel.
3. Tik op het tandwielicoon rechtsboven.
4. Kies Account verwijderen en bevestig.

Het account wordt direct verwijderd. Dit kan niet ongedaan worden gemaakt.

2. Verwijdering aanvragen per e-mail

Lukt inloggen niet meer, stuur dan vanaf het e-mailadres waarmee je account is geregistreerd een bericht naar info@fcxi.net met als onderwerp "Verwijder mijn FCXI-account". We gebruiken het afzenderadres om de aanvraag te verifiëren en voeren deze binnen 30 dagen uit.

3. Wat wordt verwijderd

• Je account en e-mailadres
• Je profiel: naam, geboortedatum, regio, lengte, voorkeursvoet, posities, categorie, beschikbaarheid en biografie
• Voor clubaccounts: clubnaam, locatie, contactpersoon, website en socialemediakanalen
• Alle foto's, highlightvideo's en posts die je hebt geüpload
• Je chatberichten
• Je token voor pushmeldingen en je app-instellingen

4. Wat wordt bewaard, en hoe lang

• Versleutelde back-ups kunnen je gegevens nog tot 30 dagen na verwijdering bevatten; daarna worden ze overschreven.
• Meldingen van misbruik kunnen in geanonimiseerde vorm bewaard blijven waar dat vereist is, zodat veiligheidsbeslissingen controleerbaar blijven. Deze zijn niet meer tot jou herleidbaar.
